About the Author
I was deeply inspired by powerful fantasy tales growing up, falling in love with stories like the Lord of the Rings and the Chronicles of Narnia. They gave me a taste for beauty and brought me hope and encouragement in hard times, especially after I and my family escaped our first home as it burned to the ground.

As my hunger for fantasy and strong storytelling grew, I soon began to realize that it was hard to find very many stories with the depth of real nobility and brotherhood that I'd acquired a taste for.

There were a few, but rare to find. I wanted stories that inspired me with vision and purpose. Stories rich and beautiful that drew me into another world but also left me with a strong drive for living well. Tales high, ancient and magnificent, but also simple, relatable and down to earth.

There were never enough like that for me, and so many others to sift through. But as I discovered my love for tale-making as well, I began to try my hand at creating more of them myself, as best I could.
Of course, I lacked the magic required to pull the vision that I imagined out of my mind and onto the page. But year after year I honed my craft as I grew up. I found skilled authors to teach me, and studied and trained to build my skills, discovering fellow writers on the journey who could help me strengthen my stories as I did theirs.
The growing is a never-ending journey, there is always more to learn. But at last, stories and characters came into being that really had beauty and strength. That I truly loved and was moved by, and that inspired others as well.

As an author of fantasy novels, I weave myths that connect old beauty and nobility with relatable characters. I blend prose and old-fashioned ideas with engaging challenges, high and noble visions with down to earth simple life, and historical styles and principles with classic fantasy ones. I try to create a bridge between our modern hearts and the inspiration of old strong legends and deep truths, drawing strength into the new from the old roots.

The stories we let into our hearts shape who we become. I hope to be one of the tale-weavers who can turn to stories and ideas of a stronger, older kind, and make them new again.
